Jolee's Weekend (August 1998)

On Saturday, we took Jolee to the restaurant Serendipity for a special
birthday lunch. Unfortuntely, she slept through lunch. However, she did
wake up for the post-lunch shopping spree in Bloomingdale's, where
thanks to Grandma Diane, Jolee got her snowsuit for winter and some
Bloomie's pajamas.

On Sunday, we rode on a bus (always a hit) and bought Jolee a captain's
bed which will be delivered next week. After that, she tripped on the
sidewalk. She requested we kiss her knee, and then, still crying, said
"Nose". So we kissed her nose. "All better?" we asked. "Mouth" she
replied, pointing to her mouth. After she got her mouth kissed, she
pointed and said "Eye." Don't worry, all we could find scraped was her
knee.

This is a girl who, besides getting Bloomingdale's, knows what else to get!
